TEHRAN -- The British press yesterday wrote that Iran is the best place to observe the last solar eclipse in the 20th century. The two British dailies Guardian and Times in reports published yesterday quoted NASA officials as saying that the greatest chances of observing the solar eclipse belong to Isfahan and stand at 95 percent. There is only a 45-percent change of observing this rare phenomenon in Cornwall, southwest of England, and the weather experts forecast a cloudy day for that region on August 11. It is estimated that some four million tourists will travel to Cornwall to observe the phenomenon.
